Jaguar Marching Band Alumni
Now in its 17th season, the Jaguar Marching Band (JMB) has grown to over 280 members and has hundreds of alumni across the country. In partnership with the USA National Alumni Association, the Jaguar Marching Band Alumni Society was founded in 2018 to connect and engage former members.
You don’t need to be a member of the National Alumni Association to participate in alumni events, but active membership is required to serve on the Alumni Society Board of Directors. Interested in serving? Contact Dr. Will Petersen at wpetersen@southalabama.edu.
2025 Alumni Band – Homecoming Weekend
Date: Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 1st, 2025
Registration Deadline: Sunday, October 26th, 2025
Event Highlights:
- Friday Night Reception: Meet fellow alumni and graduating JMB members at Buffalo Wild Wings in their event room (Aiport/Hillcrest Location) on Friday, October 31st starting at 6:30PM. Appetizers provided. Cash bar available.
- Game Day Performance: Join the JMB in the stands to play classic and new tunes.
- Tailgate: Starts four hours before kickoff near the Jaguar Training Center (south gate). Food provided, BYOB.
- Music: Available via FlipFolder app on October 27th (connect ID: jmbalumni25). Bring your own small instrument if possible; alumni shirts and stadium passes will be provided.
- Game Admission for Participants: Alumni enter through the Northeast Endzone Tunnel with Alumni Band Polo.
- Tickets for Family/Friends: Discounted tickets available for family and friends using promo code ALUMNIBAND. Buy them here!
- Venue Policies: Hancock Whitney Stadium follows a clear bag policy and is cashless.
Note: Participation in Alumni Band is open to all former JMB members, regardless of National Alumni Association membership—though joining is encouraged for full benefits.
